After all that shopping & walking Jang Mo Jib was at the perfect place for me. The staff welcomed me and gave me a such good table even though I was a solo customer. Their rice quality was amazingly superb. The cook had the knowledge how to make the rice perfect. My stew was not too salty. Again, the service was well presented. I had a peaceful lunch in peace.

Had dinner at Have Mo Jib and it was a solid, straightforward Korean meal. We ordered the spicy BBQ pork and the pig feet. The spicy pork was properly seasoned — actually flavorful, not just red and spicy for show. The meat was tender with slightly charred edges, and it went really well with rice. The pig feet were the better dish in my opinion. Good texture, soft but still a bit chewy on the skin, and not overly greasy. Simple, but done right. Side dishes were good and fresh, and they refilled them without any issue. Service was attentive and efficient. I’d come back.

I recently dined at this fantastic Korean restaurant and was thoroughly impressed by their **ssuk uh soon doo boo** and **pork BBQ**. The stew was bursting with flavor, perfectly spiced and comforting. The pork BBQ was incredibly tender and juicy, making it a must-try. The staff were responsive and attentive, ensuring our dining experience was enjoyable. The overall atmosphere was warm and inviting. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone craving authentic Korean flavors!

Of probably about a dozen of Korean restaurants I’ve tried in Vancouver, this is on my top 3 for sure. The place have aged, but great location on west end. The serving is big. Service is ok. But ya the food I’ve ordered are so good that I over ordered. I’m going to come back for sure.

We were in the area and looked on Google for a place to have dinner. The photos looked great and they offered a good variety of dishes, so we decided to give it a try. We ordered the medium Gam Ja Tahng and the large Jok Bahl (it comes in only one size) — and it was more than enough food for the four of us. The food was delicious: the meat in the soup was tender with perfect flavor, and the pork feet were excellent. The view of downtown on a lightly rainy day made the experience even better. The staff were friendly and the customer service was great. Highly recommend!

The only place in Vancouver where you can get freshly made tteokbokki! The portions are generous, the taste is amazing, and since there’s no break time, you can drop by anytime. Plus, they’re open late, making it the perfect spot to grab a comforting late-night snack without any hassle.
